Meet Dr. Perry

Dr. Andrew Perry

General and Implant Dentistry

Dr. Andrew Perry is a North Carolina native and represents the 2nd generation of dentists in the Perry family. He attended both college and dental school at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. Upon graduation he completed a general practice residency in Birmingham, AL where he began his hands-on dental implant surgery training. Following that, he moved to Raleigh, NC where he met his wife and eventually started his own dental practice.

Continuing Education

A lifelong learner, Dr. Perry participates in over 75 hours of continuing education yearly, and is active in multiple study clubs. In 2022, he proudly completed the advanced essentials curriculum training at the Pankey Institute in Florida; the premier facility for post-graduate dental education. Dr. Perry is past president of the 4th District NC Dental Society, and often represents his state as a delegate at the annual session. He attends classes at Spear Education and is an outspoken advocate of using digital dentistry in private practice.

Dr. Perry is a fellow in the International College of Dentists (ICD) and in the International Congress of Oral Implantologists (ICOI). The ICD is a nomination-only organization with an emphasis on volunteer service and leadership.

Family, Hobbies and Civics

Dr. Perry is an active member in one of Raleigh’s oldest civic clubs, Kiwanis. In his free time, he enjoys F3, college sports, and serving in his church. He is an Eagle scout and loves being outdoors with family and friends. Most of all, Dr. Perry enjoys spending time with his family – his wife Lacy, their four children, and his German Shorthair Pointer, Woody.

Dr. Perry has participated in several mission trips to South and Central America, and volunteers locally at Wake Smiles and the NCDS-sponsored Missions of Mercy clinics.

Dr. Perry maintains many wonderful professional relationships with dental specialists, physicians, educators, and their team members. He strives for excellence in all service endeavors, including learning alongside his associates and patients.
